Kerrang!
This magazines front cover is very dull and black, this could be because of the typical stereotype that 'moshers' are dark as this magazine goes out to rockers of any age.
We have a picture of the band 'Panic at the disco' who are quite popular so their target audience automatically thinks something will be in the magazine relating to them making kerrangs magazine sale quite high.
At the bottom of the magazine there are pictures and bold white writing stating that there are 'free posters' The white writing goes against the black background extremely well.
The writing is on a slant which contrasts with the pictures because them to are on a slant.
The bands heads are over the title of the magazine this indicates that the magazine is very popular, because the readers will have to identify the name of the magazine.
The facial expressions of the band are some what gloomy, this matches the background and the stereotype of 'mosher, goth, punk, emo.'
Kerrang magazine uses the colour yellow for effect against a dull black background, this attracts attenetion to the magazine and makes there audience want to buy it, because if the front covers look better then last weeks edition the magazine must be better as a whole.
